and international presence. Our extensive experience over the past
few decades of serving the aeromedical field allows us to confidently
and efficiently evacuate seriously injured or sick patients from even
the remotest of areas.
The subcontinent
has medical facilities varying from the sophisticated to the basic
minimum, depending on the remoteness of the area. Many a time patients
require a specialized hospital, investigations, intensive care, operations
etc. and have to be moved to a place with adequate facilities. Time
is an important factor in these cases and Indian Air Ambulance® provides
rapid, high quality care and transfer of such patients.
Our teams use
"State-of-the-art" portable life saving equipment. Our flight medical
crew and equipment is located in New
Delhi. Indian Air Ambulance® is centrally located at New Delhi, the
Capital of India and can rapidly fly to assist patients within the
Subcontinent. We have a 24-hour Alarm center open 365 days a year,
7 days a week to professionally handle medical transfers and repatriation
of patients to and from the subcontinent, to anywhere in the World.
We are dedicated to providing flawless professional aeromedical
transport.
With an experience
of several thousands of air ambulances over a period of 20 years,
our flight medical staff are trained to handle the most critical of
patients whether they are on life support, have myocardial infarction
or multitrauma patients etc. and provide dedicated critical care in
the skies. We can take off within 90 minutes following authorization
to proceed.
If you or your
loved ones become sick or injured, just one phone call will activate
the mission and we will provide you with the most cost effective means
of transportation and always provide a quote before undertaking the
mission. Our medical teams are highly experienced and qualified medical
professionals (Doctors/ Nurses) who provide coordinated "bedside-to-bedside"
transfer Worldwide. Our Aeromedical teams are on call 24 -hours a
day to respond quickly to emergencies. Within minutes of a call, our
flight coordinators make all the necessary arrangements for "bedside-to-bedside"
service so that prompt transfer is done with the appropriate medical
team and specialists, always taking into consideration the patients
best interests. Our medical teams are chosen based on the needs of
the patient. Critically ill patients are transported in an intensive
care setting. When required specialists accompany the patient (e.g.
cardiologist, pediatrician, and obstetrician etc.)
We understand
the family's/company's concern and importance of being informed. Our
communication staff and medical team are in constant touch with each
other via global roaming mobile phones. We give updates on the patients'
status, explain all procedures and are available to answer any question
the patients' family might have.
We utilize the
most appropriate means of transfer according to the location and condition
of the patient. Transfer is possible either by Airplane or Helicopter
depending on the distance involved, number of patients to be transferred,
the presence of adequate landing strips and also whether the patient
requires a pressurized aircraft.
The following
information is required for efficient, prompt and safe transfer of
the patient:
- Patients name,
age, nationality, insurance company and policy number and the full
diagnosis of the patient.
- Name of hospital,
facility were the patient is located.
- Name of hospital
or facility and contact details where the patient prefers to be transferred.
- Name and contact
details of the treating physician.
- Callers name,
relationship to the patient/s, phone number
- If any family
members/attendants will be accompanying the patient.

was formed in 1991 and is the World's first air medical consortium.
This network encompasses
the World and provides quick evacuation from any location to high
quality hospital care. Due to the presence of aircraft's' positioned
in various parts of the World, loss of time is minimized in transporting
a patient, adhering to aviation duty time regulations. The relay in
the network ensures that the patient is rapidly transferred.

SCHEDULED FLIGHT
REPATRIATION WITH MEDICAL ESCORT
East West Rescue
has been repatriating patients on commercial planes with medical escorts
within India and the rest of the World for over 20 years. Our Doctors
and Nurses are well qualified professionals who efficiently provide
coordinated "bedside to bedside" transfer worldwide.
Our medical escort
service caters to those individuals who require medical assistance
while traveling, whether it be as a stretcher case on life support
systems or as a escort for those disabled or unable to tend for themselves
during their flight back home.
Any
person requiring any form of medical assistance for critical or non-critical
care transport may use this service. Though a patient may only require
minimal care, all standard emergency equipment and medication are
always taken by the medical/nursing escort.
We have a good
rapport with and are well known for, our high safety standards with
both National and International airlines (British Airways, Lufthansa,
KLM, etc.) and patients are transported either seated or as a stretcher
case. We have done thousands of commercial plane repatriations over
the years.
Our teams use

saving equipment and can provide ICU care on commercial flights.
Our staff and equipment are located in New Delhi, India.
Commercial airline
repatriation and transfer is available to all age groups to and from
India or anywhere in the World. Commercial repatriation is more cost
effective for transfer over long distances, where the only other mode
of transfer is by air ambulance.
Commercial repatriation
can be done for:

- Psychiatric cases

- Mentally or
physically challenged individuals
- Injuries to limbs
- Commercial flight
transfer at any airport in India, to a waiting air ambulance from

to make all necessary arrangements for transfer.
Our medical escort
service includes:
- Ticketing and
ground transport for the patient.
- Oxygen, special
requirements, stretchers etc. in the aircraft.
- Admission to
a hospital or nursing home or even to the patient's home.
- Special assistance
at the airport for speedy and comfortable boarding.
- A Doctor/Nurse
accompanying the patient from "bedside to bedside", throughout the
transfer.
- Administering
patient medication, monitoring and nursing care on board the flight.

and INTERSTATE / LONG DISTANCE ROAD AMBULANCES

State-Of- The-Art equipment, medication and medical teams. A comprehensive
bed-to-bed service with State-of- the- Art ground ambulances allow
continuation of expert care during transportation.
